What we do

NetIKX aims to:

  • enable learning and equip members with practical ideas to apply in their workplace
  • support members to help them develop their roles and progress their careers
  • facilitate networking amongst our members and with other individuals and groups
  • provide an information and knowledge resource for members

We do this through meetings and via this web site

Meetings

Our meetings are the cornerstones of the NetIKX experience. They offer a friendly, safe environment in which you can learn and feel comfortable in sharing your own experience with other members, and speakers, as part of the learning by sharing process. Future meetings are announced in the News and Events panel.

  • NetIKX holds six meetings per year with respected, thought leading speakers
  • NetIKX meetings are free to members. Non-members are welcome subject to the non-member fee of £50 per person
  • Past speakers have included:

    • Chris Hancock - Office of e-Envoy; KM in the Public Sector

    • Our meetings are informal and interactive, often including mini-workshops
    • We try to make meetings a true learning experience, with plenty of opportunity to interact with both the speakers and professional colleagues
    • Key learning points are summarised at the meeting. NetIKX meetings will invariably give you practical ideas to try back at your own workplace
    • A full Meeting Report and any presentation material are published on this web site in the 'members only' area (not accessible to non member attendees).
    • Meetings are normally held in Central London in the afternoon. They always conclude with an opportunity to carry on the discussion informally, to network and share knowledge and learning. There is always time to seek help with one's own workplace challenges.

Future meetings are listed in the News and Events panel on the Home page; Register for the next meeting
